It Finally Makes Sense!

Its all beginning to make sense to me. My life. What I like and have always wondered at why I like what I like. Charlotte Mason and many authors who have studied her writings are helping me to see clearly what I have missed for so so many years.

I LOVE to buy and use notebooks, books, pens, journaling…and its coming clear to me now as to why! I have a mind from our Great and Awesome Creator, to know and to remember what I know!

I will have 2 to 3 books going at the same time and try to notebook or journal all I am learning in them all the while. I have many complete journals and probably just as many incomplete! I want to know and I want to remember!! This may seem trivial to some, but to me this is all very inspiring and revolutionary!  Having grown up in traditional public school and thus far having schooled my children that way, this is novel!!!!

So this CM approach to education makes complete sense to me. Our children want to know! They want to grow in knowledge, and what a better way to do that than notebooking and narrating!

I am so grateful to the Lord for bringing all this to light! May He be glorified!
