How can I join?
In May, we open up registration to new families. If you are interested in joining for the next school year, please Contact Us to be added to the interest list.
What is FAF?
Six Fridays a year we spread the CM feast. In a large group setting, our students are given the opportunity to draw or paint under expert instruction, create or learn a new skill during the handicraft session, take part in drama through carefully selected Reader’s Theater scripts, participate in a group picture study of the term’s artist, listen to the term’s composer, and sing together the term’s hymn and folksong. Fine Arts Fridays are meant to give families a taste of what can be done at home using Charlotte Mason’s ideas for enrichment.
When is FAF?
We offer 2 Fine Arts Fridays per term; typically in the months of September and October; January and February; and April and May. The event lasts approximately 2 ½ hours from 9:30am-12pm.
Who can participate in FAF?
Fine Arts Friday registration is open to all members of Vineyard Homeschool Fellowship and enrollment begins in April for current families and in May for new families. Registration is filled on a first come, first serve basis and will be capped at the maximum capacity based on facility and accommodations.
Children ages 4 (as of September 1)-high school may participate in Fine Arts Fridays. Because of the range of activities offered, all ages will benefit and enjoy participating in this event.
